The importance of the nose when it comes to a person's appearance is undeniable. As it is in the center of the face, the nose is quickly and easily noticeable, which is why any deformation on it will be very difficult to hide, if at all. This has then given rise to the popularity of rhinoplasty, or what we commonly know as a "nose job", which can fix or correct most physical deformities of the nose. So popular has rhinoplasty become, that there is now even male rhinoplasty specific for men.
But the technology and methodology is not always successful, despite many advancements over the decades. And when this happens, the results of the surgery may not be to the liking of the patient, whether it's because the appearance is not what they initially thought, or because there are complications that both altered the results, or cause discomfort or pain. This is where revision rhinoplasty comes in.
Revision rhinoplasty is employed to fix the almost 15% of all rhinoplasty procedures, which end imperfectly, causing either cosmetic or functional problems. While surgeons can give an idea as to how a rhinoplasty procedure would end up, only by doing the actual operation will the client get to see what the results would be. And sometimes, projections don't live up to expectations, and patients end up being not happy with the results.
And there are cases wherein the nose might look fine, but actually has a number of functional problems. These include nasal collapse, complications underneath the skin and tissue, and other issues, which can cause anything from pain, difficulty in breathing, and infection.
These rhinoplasty complications cause not just physical and cosmetic damage, but also emotional and psychological trauma. When patients spend large sums of money only to realize that they didn't get exactly what they want, this can make them feel depressed, and have self-esteem issues. Some won't find the courage to go out in public without revision rhinoplasty fixing the problems.
It is important to note, however, that this procedure is not as easy as it sounds. It's not like fixing a car that's been repaired wrongly. Which is why it is important to find the best surgeon available and the best venue for revision rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty Los Angeles
